CCS River Blackwater Cruiser Race

4th CCS Cruiser Race of the season.

The next race in the CCS series of Port-to-Port races is the Essex Yacht Club race to the Blackwater on Saturday the 6th August

The race starts at the Leigh Buoy at 08-00 and finishes at the Bateman's Tower on the River Colne

The Colne Yacht Club have a Sonata open meeting on that weekend so Brightlingsea is expected to be busy if you require a berth at Brightlingsea please contact the Harbourmaster directly and there are plenty of places to eat in the town the Yachtsman's Arms will be open as will The Waterside fish & chip restaurant

Alternatively, you can always moor in Pyefleet Creek for the night
