Thursday 24th to Monday 28th July (both inclusive)
Registration for Expression of Interest open from 1st March, and will close on Sunday 4th May.

Cost is £165 per person if using a club provided boat, or £130 per person when using your own 'suitable' boat.
This fee includes lunch, a cooked evening meal (not on the first day), plus snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
Places will be limited to 45 students. At this point, this is just an expression of interest and is not a guarantee of a place. In the event that this course is over-subscribed; places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Where a club boat is required, priority will be given to new participants.

No deposit or payment required at present - fees will be invoiced nearer to the time of the event.
You will need to log into your Membership Portal to complete the registration process.
New / first-time applicants must be enrolled as a Cadet Member of Benfleet Yacht Club 'prior' to being able to register for Cadet Week. You will not be able to undertake the booking process until this is done and paid for.
A brief guide to help you make your booking:
- PLEASE NOTE: "new students" must be enrolled as a Cadet Member of BYC "before" making the Cadet Week application process. Members details will only be added to the clubs administration system once membership is approved and paid for.
- Scroll further down this page to: "Please log in to view all available tickets and make bookings" if not already logged into your Portal, or "Tickets" if you are already logged in. Here you can re-set your password if forgotten.
- Once logged in, you will see two Ticket options:
a) Cadet Application with own boat, or
b) Cadet Application requiring a club boat. - Select the appropriate "Ticket" option(s) and enter the number of places.
- Within each of the Ticket options, you can select the name of the participating student within your family group - under the "Who For / Contact" dropdown menu.
- When providing your own boat within the "own boat" booking option, either select your own boat if already listed, or provide details of the boat where requested if not listed.

Terms & conditions for enrolling onto Cadet Week:
- Places are limited to 45 students, due to Instructor resources, boat availability and on-shore facilities etc.
- Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
- Students must be, as a minimum, turning 8 years old in the year Cadet Week is being held. Maximum age is 17 years old.
- In order to comply with Insurance and Leisure Activity requirements, all Cadet Week participants must be enrolled as a "Cadet Member".
- New / first time students must join and be accepted as Cadet Members "prior" to registering their expression of interest for Cadet Week.
- Allocation of "Club Boats" will be prioritised to new 'first-time' Cadet Week participants. After that, any remaining club boats will be allocated based on level and ability.
- Any "Own Boats" must be suitable for the course level applied for, in good order and adequately insured. BYC reserves the right to refuse use of an "own boat" if considered unsuitable.
- To assist with the smooth running of the Cadet Week event, support from at least one Parent / Grandparent / Guardian is required: with minimum commitment to at least 1 weekday plus 1 weekend day per applicant. Jobs will be allocated prior to Cadet Week, by the Administration Team, and may be on or off the water subject to need.
