Adult Dinghy Sail Training
This event is only open to members of BYC.
During the year, we run a few Adult Dinghy Sailing Taster / Training sessions. Our club's RYA Dinghy Instructors are on hand to provide sailing instruction for adults with the aim to build the skills, knowledge and understanding to have confidence and fun out on the water.
There is also the possibility of working towards the RYA Level 1 Start Sailing and Level 2 Basic Skills qualifications.
Course venue: Benfleet Yacht Club
Dates - choice of two dates available in 2025: 1)Saturday 7th June, 2) Saturday 13th September
Required experience: None
Minimum age: 18
Max places per session: Dependent on the instructors available on the day
Cost: Free
Note: Although the sessions are free, if you wish to have a logbook and handbook to work towards certification, there will be a charge of £TBC to cover the cost.
Places will be made available for BYC members on a first come first served basis.
At this stage there is no charge nor commitment to the member.
Once instructor availability is confirmed, members will receive formal confirmation of the booking.
