News snippet's, updates and other yacht club gossip: Seventeen boats attended the BYC May Bank Holiday cruise to Upnor, with 50 people sitting down to diner. Eight BYC boats attended the Shakedown Cruise to Queenborough (first cruise of the season, Alex Morley "Cadet Captain" and Amberlie Coleman "Assistant Cadet Captain for 2013". 2013 Paper Boat Race attracted 28 entries (results click here) and raised a total of £65 for the RNLI. Sunday Afternoon Cream Tea's
Now that the clubs bar is open during Sunday afternoons, the bar will also being serving Cream Tea's', consisting of a Pot of Tea with scones, clotted cream, jam and strawberrys. Served after 2.30pm.
