Introducing Sailing Club Manager

Sailing Club Manager is a web-based system now in use at Benfleet Yacht Club for the management and administration of it's memberships, boat moorings and storage, and for invoicing, receiving payments, reporting and accounting etc. In addition, this system allows us to communicate more effectively with members to notify them of news and events at BYC.

Sailing Club Manager allows us to send invoices to members for subscriptions and other charges by email, rather than post, thus reducing both cost and administration time.

Each member will be given access to a self-service portal, which will allow them to view their personal account on-line (memberships, boat and mooring details, charges etc.), very much in the way that the majority of us now manage our household utility bills and services.

Sailing Club Manager has many other features available such as race management and results, event bookings etc. which can be utilised at a later date.

Also inside the Portal area, we post information about BYC that we do not want available in the public area, ie: Minutes of meetings of the General Committee, Gate & Door Access Codes, detailed list of all fee's and charges (incl. Moorings and Lay-Up) etc.

How to access the Members Portal

If Benfleet Yacht Club already have your email address on file, you will have access to the Member's Portal. Click on "Login" on the top right hand side of any page throughout the BYC website. At this point, you can reset your password if forgotton.

For Members who currently do not have access to their personal Portal, we will require your email address. Please send an email (with names of all family members and home address) to Paul Field - System Administrator Click here to send an email. The supplied email address should ideally be either the Full Member or the person responsible of the administration of the family group. For Cadet Members, please provide the email address of a parent or bill payer.

In return, you will receive details of your portal.

Please be advised that by setting up an on-line account portal does not require members to pay fees etc. via on-line banking. Other payment options: Cheque and Card remain available. Cash is no longer accepted. Furthermore, no payment or banking details are processed or stored within Sailing Club Manager.
