The last race in the CCS series of Port-to-Port races for this year is the Benfleet Yacht Club race to the Queenborough on Saturday the 18th. September. The race starts at the Leigh Buoy at 12-30 and finishes off the floating jetty at Queenborough. The pubs in Queenborough are open so it should be a good evening in the town. Various on-water events and activities: rowing relay race & sailing: Cadet race, ladies helm race starting around 11:00am (HW 12:28). Various on-shore activities starting around midday, including crabbing competition, bouncy castle. Followed by the Commodores Tea during the afternoon. Donation of "homemade" cakes for the cake stall would be much appreciated.

Results of the 2021 Race are now available on Round Canvey Race event page . A 14 mile long Rowing or Row and Sail "open" event around Canvey Island, starting and finishing from Benfleet Yacht Club. We are delighted to announce that we have been able to secure a new caterer who will be joining us on Saturday 17th April. Nichola along with her assistant, Stacey will be providing a selection of 'Bar Meals' at the club, initially at weekends only, and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtimes commencing at a later date.
