For Sale -- Splash Class Sailing Dinghy
A Dutch youth class single handed sailing dinghy. Extremely popular in Holland, with good numbers based in the UK. Ideal for those looking to step up from the Optimist, without the grunt required for sailing the Laser. Excellent sailing performance.
Sail no. 834. Two tone coloured hull: purple with white undersides.
One owner from new and not a great deal of use over the years. Not used at all in the past three years.
Two sails, one fairly recent and kept for Sunday best – but both in good condition and have been stored rolled from new.
Recent new Daggerboard and Rudder Blade. Padded foil bag.
Brand new Bruce Banks cover, just purchased at £90. Steel launching trolley.
Boat is still in very good clean and sound condition with very few marks. The purple coloured gellcoat on the hull topsides has faded with the sunlight over the years, but this is purely cosmetic. The white underside is like new.
Boat can be viewed in the dinghy park at Benfleet Yacht Club, Canvey Island, Essex.
