  • Minimum age requirement is 7 years at "start" of course.

Covering the RYA Junior Sail Training Scheme

Ages from 7 (at start of Cadet Week) through to 18 years old

Cost £120 if using a club provided boat, or £90 when using your own suitable boat
Fee includes snacks and refreshments throughout the day and a full evening meal

Places are limited to 50 students. In the event that this course is
over-subscribed, selection will be made based on past year's sailing
record where applicable (Sailing Committee discretion)

Parents and other adults: can you help?
The Cadet sail training week will require a number of adult helpers to make it a success.
Duties include: on-water & shore side support, galley slaves, first aiders,
and people to collect the RYA hire boats (suitable car with towbar required).
If you can spare just one day, or all five days, please indicate
your availability on the student application form.
